I originally discovered the world of Tarot cards in my late-teens when I was studying for my theology degree at University. Having decided to focus my attentions on mysticism and spirituality, I was drawn to the cards and how directly accessible their power was. I found this contrasts with many world faiths that have an organised hierarchy to prescribe religious expression. For me, in our modern secular age this control can sometimes seem unnecessary or not very relevant – particularly when androcentric in nature or fixed around traditional old-fashioned ideas.
So where does that leave many of today’s men and women, struggling to make decisions and unable to find help and guidance with life’s difficult questions?
Since graduating University, I have been through a lot of life experiences that were difficult and challenging. At times I felt lost, and had no confidence in myself or the choices I needed to make. However with perseverance over many years, I feel that I have grown more than I could have imagined. I have lived in many wonderful places, made many amazing friends from all around the world, enjoyed a successful career in computing and I.T and have been happily married for many years with two children. As such I now feel in a strong position to offer my help to others.
And so TimelyTarot was born.
The aim of my site is to use the power of the cards to help my clients’ measure potential outcomes and evaluate influences surrounding a person, an event, or both. This can give you an idea of the different directions your life could take, and motivate you towards pursuing the best outcome for yourself and others. However once you have been given all the directions then the path you choose to follow still lies firmly with you. As Alice asked the Cheshire Cat 🐱, “…which way I ought to go from here?” and of course the answer is that depends a good deal on where you want to get to.
